Present and future of pharmaceutical sector: problems and solutions

AFI Symposium will be back on June 7th-9th 2017 and for the 57th edition it will wear new clothes.

The exhibition area inside Rimini Palacongressi will be rearranged with a new set up, in order to enhance the encounter between the several components of the Symposium, and the access to the booths will be free for the whole duration of the event. Only the participation to the scientific sessions will be charged by costs, with electronic check of participants.

The scientific program will be further enriched with more sessions, therefore the works will continue on Friday afternoon. Scientific sessions will start on Wednesday afternoon with the lectio magistralis, and they will stop temporary, on Thursday afternoon, during the presentation of the 10 Technological Novelities and the Plenary Session, entitled "Situations and perspectives in the Italian Pharmaceutical Sector". As usual, attendance will be free for both the events.

Once again, will also be part of the Symposium the workshops organized by companies, which have officially become an integral part of the Symposium, the institutional corners and the poster area, featuring topics as research & development and industrial technology.

The exhibition area will also host "the start-up piazza", a showcase that will allow participants and exhibiting companies to get in touch with the innovative start-ups attending the event with their desks. The start-ups will also have the chance to present their projects and activities during the lunch breaks. In the meantime, several mini-symposiums will take place, to deal with topics related to company creation, intellectual property protection and start-up financing.
